CBRE’s Tom O’Loughlin, Larry Genet Negotiate 64,000-SF Office Tenant At Saint Lucie Technology Campus

CBRE Senior Vice Presidents Tom O’Loughlin and Larry Genet negotiated an expansion on behalf of Saint Lucie Technology Campus, a corporate headquarters-style office/call center located at 8881 S. US Highway 1 in Port Saint Lucie.

Ft. Lauderdale-based Convey Health Solutions, a healthcare technology and services company represented by Ryan Nunes, Executive Vice President and National Director with JLL, will relocate staff to occupy the entire building.

Report: Availability Of U.S. Warehouse Space Last Year Was The Lowest Since 2000

The availability of warehouse space in the U.S. last year hit the lowest level since 2000 and will remain tight this year as e-commerce continues to boost demand for storage and distribution facilities, especially near heavily populated areas.

Real estate brokerage CBRE reported that only 7 percent of industrial space was vacant and available in the fourth quarter, the lowest level since 2000.

Biggest Multistory Warehouse In The U.S. Planned For Brooklyn

As retailers continue to seek ways to deliver their products to as many customers as possible as fast as possible, developers are building bigger and taller than ever to help them.

Bridge Development Partners and DH Property Holdings have joined forces to acquire an 18-acre site in Brooklyn, where they plan to a build a four-story, 1.3M SF distribution center, the largest multistory warehouse in the United States.
